Chai Banana Pudding
Ingredients
250gms butter
1 cup caster sugar
4 eggs
1 cup self-raising flour
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (over ripe will give best results)
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Chai Powder
Lightly grease a deep round cake pan and cover the base with baking paper.
Beat sugar and butter in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time until fully combined.
Fold in sifted dry ingredients(Flour, Baking Powder, Chai Powder) and mashed bananas.
Pour mixture into greased cake pan.
Cook in a moderate oven at 180degrees for about 1 hour.
(Insert a skewer into the middle. If it comes out clean it's cooked!)
Stand for about 20 mins and then turn it out onto a plate.
Serve with warm custard or caramel sauce, decorate with whipped cream and sliced banana. |
